Howard and I drove to Knox County- picked red raspberries at farm on Green Valley Road then to Road 126 and found a house William Hildreth II built about 1835. William and Linda Jacob and two kids bought it a year ago. Inside has been remodeled- terrible arches and Mediterranean wallpaper with that beautiful Sheraton mantle. But they loved it and rescued it from hippies. Farm has been subdivided and they have 20 acres. To Granville and had lunch at Buxton Inn. I had croquet Monsieur French toast sandwich with mustard sauce. On the east of Newark to Neder Farm to dig Flint. We mostly picked it up. To Zanesville but potteries closed. Back to Flint Ridge Museum and ice cream at Old Mill
