Christmas at Terradise
So many little housekeeping chores kept me busy all day but Christmas started when David, Karen, Josh & Sue arrived about 6:45 – I had a table of snacks – cheese & crackers – dip – tiny links sausage in the chafing dish – routed out of the attic where it had been unused for what? 20-30 years.
Showed David the contract to establish the Romine-Howser endowed scholarship – and naming of new shelter house at OSUM Prairie the Trella Romine Shelter – he OK’ed it enthusiastically.
Got out the Terradise song books David made in 1970 & followed the words as he played all of them on the piano.
Josh & Susannah opted to sleep on the living room sofa instead of the pull-a-bed in rec room.
All quiet at Terradise by 11:00 PM.
