To Le Salon at 12:30 for hairdo – new style – Home by 1:15 & until 4:30 rewrote Annual Meeting notes for exec committee meeting at 5:00 – Budget of $52,000 for 2010 & Gale’s contract signed – No Nancy Gracely so I took notes & will prepare portfolio to present to County Commissioners to approve 2010 events calendar with changes to time of Prairie Tours to early August instead of late.
To Pam Morris’ mansion at 612 Bedford in Vernon Heights for Garden Club of Marion Potluck & Christmas party – Extravagant decorations – Mike Todd with me on sofa – traded my prize for a Christmas rug that he got – Jim Hering insisted on following me home & into the garage – It was sleeting but not icy.
