Received “Friend of the Community” award at the 12th annual night of “A Thousand Stars” at the Marion’s Club House – a Scott Spears project to support “Safety City for kids”. Jim met me at the door and we took seats at the front. Gale presented me & then left for N of Detroit to visit her son & wife to see their new home & work on it.
Pamela Pickens – former Mark Street student with Jim C – singer known (not by me!) as Angela – surprise performer – enjoyed the Pleasant Show Choir – reminded me of Dave & Amy Lovell in the River Valley one. Martha Douce School of Dance tots – so cute.
