First terrace wall finished and timbers placed along steps and ramps.
Replanted miniature rose bush and put chicken wire around the three pots on ramp. Planted two more coreopsis and two Royal Catchfly in bed by lower drive. Cleaned and watered petunias and geraniums and pergola bed and watered them and tomato plant. Tomatoes showing change from green.
Crew has wall 8 timbers High and the ones along steps laid.
To Marion Manor at 6:00 to tape three sessions of the Exchange Club. Madge Guthrey, Charlie Evers and Joe Ione and Trella. Scott Spears prepares topics and Round Table discussion. Following taping chatted and Charlie [said] that the letters Harding wrote to Nan Britton were found hidden in a house by Marion attorney Don Williamson and were in Columbus to be opened in the future. When I got home from about 7:00 David’s car in driveway and could hear him mowing in the woods. Fried chicken and had a cheese broccoli microwave dish. Susannah here at 8:00 when we ate. And then David cut the Redbud and seedling trees in pergola bed and mowed across road. Pleasant surprise. He sold TerraPro program and will install it tomorrow at St. Paris.
