90° sunny
David ready to leave when crew from Johnson Property Services arrived along with Tracie. He showed them old electrical connection that he would like to keep (old pump to river). Pickups, dump truck with trailer hauling a bobcat fork lift.
They removed steps and timbers by noon. Then loaded timbers and pickup and stood around. I saw them hauling scoop of dirt so went down and suggested they dump it in low spots near pond. Had to get back to a solid base for new timber wall. Bobcat really tore up lawn.
Baked lasagna and had my supper of it. Susannah hasn’t shown up by 7:00- didn’t tell me whether she would be back tonight.
I scooped up sedum acre [sic] and dumped it in tub to scatter under hemlock.
Watered.
Sent email to Bill Laidlaw, Bob Gobholtzer and Jim Carpenter. I won’t go to Columbus Saturday for Ohio Historical Society annual meeting in Tiffin award to Ken Davison.
Susannah arrived about 8:00 p.m. from OSU in Columbus. Ate the lasagna I baked and to the guest room to study.
