Jim arrived at 9:30 all upset because a possum was killed on the road. When he stopped to put it in the ditch a baby possum was nursing. He is soft-hearted for all living things. He dug ditches in white oak bed. I laid daff bulbs in & he covered them. Made 2 rows inside the row planted last fall. We cleared the area of weeds – Now good black earth ready to plant the oriental lilies.
Planted iris dug from along road in bed along lower driveway – Also campanula. Cleared weeds – filled blue tub 4 times. He brought me a ham loaf and veggies. Ranted about not being notified of events at HH – and Star photographer taking pix – couldn’t reason with him. Left at 1:30 – pd $50. Rested 15 min. Jim helped load recyclables & IO took them to Sims. My left hearing adi was ready at Dr. Winger Hearing Aid Center. He also cleaned the right one. No chg – under warranty.
To Ohio State Bank – They activated my debit card – also certified the $10,000 HH Bond that was returned. Ken Vincent Agency certification no value. Mailed it! I was overdrawn $350 on my 719 checking acct – transferred $1,000 from Bordeaux acct. Home by 4:30 – exhausted butr satisfied to get things done.
Dick Cooper brought TNP maps & had put up Terradise signes at road intersections.
