Ed Sheneman funeral today – Died Jan 4
Frustrating Day – Sad to have news from Mary Grey Ham, e-mailed my memories. He’s the last of the Hemmerlys & Shenemans who lived in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla 1926/1927 – except me. Beulah White’s obit in paper – Girl Scouts and for many years she with her 2 girls, were the first to be here for open garden.
Trying to decide how to handle Prius lack of power – logged on Toyota ‘Problems’. Almost an hour reading it – most in regard to snow & gravel & car stopping. And not meeting the 50 mph highway & 60 mile city – Also not getting a complete fill-up (which I have experienced) & mpg reading wrong – GPS not complete – etc.
Called LaDonna Murphy to see if Mike Lyon could jump start – no reply – unloaded on David. ‘Call Toyota’ – talked to Cody. No use bringing it in ‘the auxiliary battery replacement not in stock.’
Had an e-mail from Gale about Whirlpool exhibit so told her I had no transportation to come to ‘Elvis Birthday’ tomorrow. Jim Carpenter was there & he will be here at 10:30 tomorrow with his jump start. Gale br oguth me milk & bananas. Gave her the maroon throw (gift from Haband) for Mary Don’s mother.
