Dave’s 22nd birthday.
Spent morning wrapping presents and picking boxes for Dave and Dee and Kathi, Bob and Kristi. Electric screwdriver, Heritage Hall bricks, checks, chocolate candy, sweaters, hints book, whisk broom, Howard’s basket, Campbell’s, Life Magazine ‘69 Oil strike in Alaska.
Took to Mary’s for help in sealing them and then to UPS $6.02 for each to Chula Vista and Reno. Supper at Bob Evans- mush and sausage. Home to relax. Ralph Garverick called me from Chillicothe asking me to speak on Main Street. Told him I’m not qualified- call Marion Chamber of Commerce
To 3-hour board meeting. Signage dispute with George Brown resolved by two signs for 2 years in meantime design a lighted one featuring both. Motions on interim disposal and proceeds from sale of 255 South Main. -Buy parking lot. -Pay on mortgage. But ultimately into Heritage Preservation Endowment Fund.
