Hot. To Westwood for lunch & Iris-look. Right after work, got Sandra Jean, & we dug at 954 [shorthand] firs o’my seedlings, & to farm after supper here – she & Kathy really helped toting water, etc. Trella tied up Scout camp, weeding appointment (& talk tonite). Kids & I milkshakes. FIREPLACE talk, Jim Weaver, Nichols* & I.
