Mowed lawn down in woods with big mower. Leaves about half down. Grass so green and growing.

Paid bills and donations to Ohio Historical Society, Lung Association, Child Evangelism, Wildflower research, Howard gave me another $1,000 for utilities and food. he drinks pop, milk, cider, orange juice about a gallon a day.

Sorted material on Bickels and Shenemans that I got in Holmes County and compared to Uncle Allen’s Sheneman genealogy.

Call from Richwood woman wanting to buy PawPaws. Read my “DBY”.
Mary and I had wonderful day together. She picked me up at 8:00 and we headed for Holmes County. A little misty early and obscured some of the color. Spent about an hour in Recorder’s Office in Millersburg. Found many Bickel and Sheneman records. Visited Jane and Sandy’s Store. Got candy and sleigh bells. Bought swiss cheese as we left town. Lunch at Warehouse at Roscoe- color gorgeous. To Don and Agnes one and a half hour visit. Don told me of the 11 plants he built for Goodyear in 10 years September 55 million. Home about 7:00

To Columbus for OAHSM board my first as first vice president. New award committee commended me for my work last year. Local History Office has a proposal to ask Ohio legislature for $500,000 to be used for grants for local history societies. We would all need to lobby.
Stopped at shop talked to Kass about putting accounts receivable on computer. Christmas giveaway and Faye’s hatefulness to everyone. Home about 5:30
Dave called wants me to look at ’65 Firebird- $4,500.
