Trella Hemmerly – 1987-01-19

Monday, January 19, 1987
Oleta woke me out of sound sleep at 8:30 to talk to Dave. He went over there about 11:30 after having pancakes and sausage breakfast with us. Had a haircut appointment at 1:00 and then left for Great Lakes. called me at 10:00- drove through two feet of slush.
Haldemans and I in to shop. David picked up their Epson computer to take to Earthside in Columbus to get it fixed. Then with me to Center to set up their computer center with printer, Etc.
Home about 1:30 and worked on newsletter. Carrol Neidhart out for me to type letter to go with grant application.

Sunday, January 18, 1987
Worked all day on Part III – Prisoners of War. Carelessly deleted a completed file on recreation just before David and family arrived but he recovered it from memory with Disk Utility program.
Made spaghetti baked for supper. Boys played Adventure on the Osborne I that I’m giving to MCHS. Then David played it.
Dave came home saying he and Oleta had a quarrel and he had spent evening with Amy Lovell.
Back to the computer after others to bed.

Saturday, January 17, 1987
Working on POW chapter all day except to make corrections on Marion Engineer Depot chapter. Mary brought her proof out.

Computer at the shop wouldn’t boot and David asked her to go in and check connections. Didn’t fix it.

Dave in from Great Lakes about 1:00 but stayed all night at Oleta’s “on davenport”. I called about 10:00 to get him up to go in and get license plate.
