David fixed my Sweep program before he left for Massillon, Columbus and Wilmington.

We worked July 12th program with new info on German Band and French Marines and printed out for Joan to use on radio program at fair at 10:10. Dropped copies off at shop for Jim Sloan and Carol Neidhardt. Joan did great job on radio. Reported in at cabin- they needed spoons and souffle cups to serve Eber beans so I got them at Marion Paper. Parked at Mother’s house (Baumers). To Joan’s office to okay broadside and program.

Didn’t need me at cabins so I came home and napped. Rained one inch while I was asleep and I had left my car out with windows open.

Bob Harter called excited because he found Sullivant’s Milkweed at Delaware dam.

Worked on flyer for church bulletins for July 12th celebration. Had to call David to find out how to print. Had Mary pick up a copy of NewsMaster in Columbus- $60 when she went to airport to pick up Dale Hecker from Raleigh, North Carolina.

Called Kathiy a.m. and she called back p.m. for Kristi and Dave to talk to me.
Mowed upper and lower lawns with big mower. Need a bagger. Can’t get mower high enough to not scalp grass.

Took Howard to doctor Niederman at Loeffert’s for a thorough eye exam. Can’t improve prescription too much, but at least new lenses won’t be scratched. Then Howard asked me to take him to Kroger’s to get some beer. He was so relieved to be home gone 2 hours!

At 1:00 to Joan Radwin’s office with copy for news releases. Then to Quick Print. 5,000 will cost about $100. Home just in time for Mary and the Jordans to pick me up and go to Al’s in Cardington for lasagna.

Worked on programs for July 12th and rewrote the copy on the Northwest Ordinance to go with a condensed program for churches. Met Kris Rundberg at Center at 3:00. Norm there with his form problems. Kris told him they only referred to trust funds not the assets of society. He wouldn’t believe her. We discussed many OAHSM problems including name change. Drove Kris past Harding Tomb and home before going to Bucky’s for dinner. Hickson’s, Cottrell’s, Boncutters, Norm and Helen Kaufman joined us and John Briley. John’s talk on Northwest Ordinance informative and entertaining. Home tired!
