Call from June – Archives computer locked up – told her David couldn’t help until next week – called David for his birthday – he said run ScanDisk and ship computer to him – I think it is “sated”.

Abuses – Lott is senator majority leader.
23 bil to ineligible Medicare payments.

This congress will support pres against any threat to our country – we have no missile defense system – set up one.
Rep. Lott [sic]
Education Reform – Locals do testing – periodic testing for teachers for merit pay. More decision making back to you – families key to non drug use – more flexibility in child care.

To HH Resource Center – Randy Windland to see Archives. He enjoyed browsing & had some pithy comments on items not pertinent to our collecting policy.
Mary picked me up at 4 & we drove to Meeker & N to Irvine Shoats Rd – left to 2nd bridge to see the gushing spring that was there when first settlers arrived.

Stopped in at Huber Museum to visit with Anna May & new treasurer Joyce Watters (she didn’t show) but LaVerne Lash brot her “chart of accts” for her to use.
