Cold – me dubbed a.m. – art work (Herm’s “introductory” cartoons for Raydar), etc. Cut wood p.m. Trella not feeling well. Slight fight tonite – I’m not “participating” – same story I had for 18 yrs!

Trella in a.m.’ wedding (& kids). I dubbed this ‘n that. P.M. we worked over introductory pomes for “Raydar” for Herm; got dirt & hiked across river. Don Eff, Mary Jane & Jimmie dropped in! Nice visit, supper. They left around 9:45. Helped Trella do dishes.

Week-end. We cleaned up basement work-shop good (1st since moving in) a.m. P.M. Trella worked shop. Paris & I brought filing cabinet out from Hall-Beck’s in Hemmerly’s truck. Home tonite; I did some re-arranging in my closet & TV.

Haircut at noon. Paris hauling me in. After work, went 954, looked at furnace (they had trouble), shopped H & H for webbing, Hull’s (got cartoon bite – advertising) & Hall-Beck for file. Bought $48 me (reduced at Hall-Beck from $68); got Sandy at 5, took her to dinner at Laube’s & on home. Dub here about 6:45 – pomed, etc. Erma Clark all nite with Kathy.

About 2″ or 3″ snow. Had help one swing. Ate Fletcher’s. Worked in basement b/4 supper on rack to hold lumber.

Snowed, starting noon (I had trip near carried, coming home for nap & lunch) – serious tonite – 2″ maybe at bedtime. We made out see & nursery orders after I went in on false alarm (wedding) & I’d writ 2 letters.

Felt lousy, but better evening. SLEPT 4 or 5 hrs. last nite. Just down, along with it. Tonite, after nap, worked poems, morgue, letter to Baker after unpacking his Papilio horishamus, & Scott – catalog. Trella ironed.

Trella in. I dubbed a.m., ended by setting post & putting up bird feeder. Wrote letters p.m. Erma & Bill Hutchman & kids here for supper & evening.

Tuff mail (half-sick); didn’t clean up. Home poohed, napped, felt fine – we (Trella & I) worked pomes, TV, popcorn. Nice weather – spring! ($213.73 25 hrs overtime)

One year since Sandy moved – & I’m not over it yet.. Kids back mid morn with Ray Hemmerly. Ray back p.m. & we got boat out; some job! Trella & I moved earth, terrace behind here, burned more brush, planted $5 white spruce Xmas Tree. Poohed – rested tonite. SHE ironed.
