Evening, Joe B. sole us $1000 worth insurance on Trella with me as beneficiary; Painted lower hall, 2nd coat.
Saw Sandy twice; in car with Rosy a.m. & at work tonite.

($145.24) Trella had lunch, we ate Mary’s. Nap after work. Trella home with headache. I wrote letters, dubbed stamps, pomes. Cold – liketa froze. 15 degrees a.m.

Up late, painted woodwork in hall (not enough paint to dirty roller) P.M., dubbed it away, no results. TV evening & bugs some.

What a day! Had to take all day off to got to Norma Baker’s funeral at Forest (meeting lotsa nice relatives) p.m. with Harold & Mary, so painted hallway a.m. Tonite, to Square Dance Caledonia school gym, all of us. Home 11:15. Windy, cold slick in spots.

Warmer. Icy a.m. tho. Trouble about spot – had 1 1/2 swings carried as a usual. Trella in part of day- headache home, ironed tonite tho. Her folks out a minute. I dubbed bugs awhile, setting on ’49 western catch!*

Warmer. Some little snow. Home tonite. Dubbed pomes, etc, orders, etc. Trella on Garden Club program; now incomet tax is about settled. (On that again all day) Bed early, me.

Cold – 8 or 9(?) a.m. Back to work. Home, noon for lunch. To see Hull tonite – half-sold on cartoon idea. To “Sea Around Us” at Palace with kids, after Trella sold wedding at shop.

Colder – wind. Went in, Dilly had Fischer on it & let me go home! Painted bathroom walls 2nd coat including woodwork-job! Tonite, we got Sandy at her Grandma’s & took her & the kids to Dad ‘n Cora’s. Stopped Rocky’s after taking Sandra Jean home. Nice time.

Cold – 9. Blowout on way to work! 15 minutes late, so Homer D. let me put up mail & take off sick (2 or 3 hrs hay last night), home & painted bathroom woodwork & cabinet! Later, got cellar-way ready to paint. Dubbed tonite.
