Colder – snowed more. Home noon, alone, for lunch. Tonite we went Hazel Chase’s, after Trella baked cake to take. Missed John Gill who was in Mansfield! Nice evening tho Hazel not good, but better than we’d expected.

Got Sandra Jean at Reidenbaugh’s, 12:30, took her up for temporary license (again). Got tangled bumper, 2:45, helping a fellow! Varnished 3 doors tonite & pomed. Trella ironed; sent Garden Club p.m.

Snow. 2 1/2″? Home noon- melting. Sandra Jean after work (5), after I’d got haircut & shopped, & we drank milkshakes & small driving lesson & I took her home. Dubbed verses a bit – bed early. (18 yrs ago tonite I bade mother goodnite for last time)

Nice day, out. I stayed in, varnishing doors & trim. 1 coat clear round now, starting 2nd round. Gravel up from river for greenhouse orchids too. Flo & Byron stopped a minute – wants talk 3/2. Trella in p.m. selling 2 weddings. I pomed & art-ed tonite.

We halued rock from Hamilton Quarry (my 1st) after work – 700# – free! “Laid” them hurriedly too. Pomes tonite. Hemmerly’s here awhile. Letter from Sandy.

($145.24) 30 degrees about, a.m. – nice day to work, dry etc. Home after carrying trip! Pomed, too. (Sold Monitor & Nature) Trella made Prospect talk tonite; I varnished 1 bathroom door, made 3 seed flats, dubbed pomes, etc.
