Snow on ground a.m. – melted by noon. Home for lunch – 44″ overtime (counting this week). Near 1800 pcs today. Got pop, after work, then Sandy (!) & we Dairy-Queened for 1st of season (she had 2!) & potato chips. Home tonite – pomes & art. Trella ironed.

Cool, but not bad. Stayed in, noon. Trella headache, ran her back in for wedding appointment. Supper, worked [shorthand] in greenhouse.

Day off. Worked Westwood, painting den, both of us. Trella worked woodwork. We [shorthand] some more from there, too, not finishing by dark out here. Letter from Sandy; wrote her – & Hazel Chase.

Nice -warmish. Bed tonite poohed, then square dancing – Holiday Hill – stayed for eats! Kids at Mary’s.

Warmer. Trella had wedding, I worked on making see flats & putting more pipes in Greenhouse to hold ’em. P.M. interviewed 2 renters at Westwood. Dug shrubs, planted same here after supper. Poohed tonite. Saw J. Creasap about 954 plumbing too.

Took 5 finished “Herm” cartoons for Sandra Jean to see (after work) before mailing same in. Home & nap, & supper, & nailed 2 seed flats together- folded up more or less. L. Douce here to ask me join Lions Club at ‘Doney. Trella to Garden Club p.m. Still cold 13 degrees a.m.

Had nerve to cut trees after work tonite! (Stopped & Bill Hutchman gave me nice scraps for flats) after supper, art-ed, etc. & relaxed!

BLOW! & Snowed- regular blizzard, but not too cold – 20 at noon. Colder tonite. Felt good, tho. We went shop tonite ‘n after work (I’d come home lunch) & phoned about renting Westwood again. Seed flats transplanted tonite, cartooned.
