Hot 80 or so! BACK TO WORK – felt rather lousy. Worked labeling Iris patch tonite, & Paris & Dad came out a fishin’ – I watched after supper. They came in, ate cake, saw greenhouse. Bath, pomes. Trella in. Helen Romine gave Kathy a permanent, etc.

Off still, reported in Wed. Dubbed trimming & burning “garden” area, spent part p.m. on Iris patch, labeling, etc. Took Sandra Jean’s beige jacket to her tonite – thrilled her mightily!! Nice (short) visit. Trella at Mary & Rocky’s. (Kathy at Rollerena)

Some warmer. Dubbed pomes, etc. a.m. P.M. with Bill & Erma Hutchman (& others) to Lima seeing Girl Scout bldgs. Supper 229 E. Fairground. Home 8:30.

Sandy’s real birthday gift got here! (Short Coat) Didn’t see her- we worked all day burning (telephone) brush, Trella & I. Poohed, both of us. Cold-ish (?) above 32 all day. (Snow flurries a.m.) Bed 7:30!

($145.24) Nice day. Long weekend – felt some better. We went town, got check, groceries ($22.22 worth), & two laods rocks at quarry, after eating at Hemmerly’s. Tuff tonite. I ate Jerzee, shopped for both Trella & Sandy & visited Sandy 1/2 hr or so.

Off – up & down – some pomes, art – “did” 2 seed flats ([shorthand]) for Trella – she worked all a.m. down there. To hike tonite while Trella ate Harding! (called Sandy) then me too to Harding – Arnold Davis & good!

LAID OFF AGAIN – Laid around doing nothing (pomes, art) all day – in bed part time. Williams here to wind up furnace work. Cold out. Trella in to do wedding tonite.

Nasty cold & half-mist – half rain. Really rained tonite, turning colder. Haircut noon; up after paper (typing) after work, saw Sandy a minute. Home tonite, art, pomes, letters. Trella in about a wedding.
