At work at 7. Everything went grand. Total of 475 corsages. Didn’t get down to see Ray until 6. He had been pretty good. He always brightens up when I come in. Fanny & Floy Baker helped out. Finished up about 9:00 & came home. River out of banks on other side.

To see Ray about 8. And then the grind all day. Carnations mostly. Kathy, Erma Hutchman, Bert Radebaugh & Marilee Johnston all good help. Worked through until 12. Ray called during P.M. to reassure me. All night at the folks- COld!
Flower order mixed: got double orchids, cymbidiums & gardenias!

Stopped at hospital aroun 8:30 & then to shop. Started on Orchids & cymbidiums. Erma & Bert Radebaugh wired leaves all day. Marlene Jolliff, Mary & Rocky in evening. To see Ray about 6 again. Has pain when he eats: can’t get rid of gas. Kids & I stayed all night at mother’s.

In bed only an hour all day. Hung out wren house & sifted dirt for greenhouse. Beautiful day. Daffs blooming. Trella home from shop at 3:30 – Bed ready at hospital. Checked in at 4:45. X-Ray – blood pressure, temp, supper.

Tuff a.m. better noon on, since we learned to cut out fats, apparently. Back to Axthelm about 2:15- hospital for me – soon as 2/bed room’s empty. Trella in 4-6. I took it easy. Dad & Paris out tonite – nice visit!!

Some better? On & off. Took Katahy to Sunday School & tried to bring her back. Got Sandra Jean nice ride & milkshakes, & told her about this. Hemmerly’s, Rocky & Mary, Floy & Fern*, Beth all here p.m. (Beth for all night) Me in bed mostly. (miserable night-)

Foo. Off again. Lousy, off & on. Finally (we sowed grass seed a.m. & filled in well hole) took this to Dr. Axthelm, who says its my LIVER – know Monday if I gotta go Hospital or not. Worked after, outside, took it easy tonite.

Lousy at work, like yesterday, but started improving about noon & even [shorthand] redbud & forsythia from Andrews to here, & worked Iris labels! Pretty day. Checked in, 8 rejections tonite.
Knocked out again – “low gut” – couldn’t sleep for pain. Wine?

Cooler, much. Nausea bothered me all day to after supper. (Ate okay, the – nausea “low”) In bed till 8 – up, both, & back to bed & stayed.
