Most of the day correcting places in Hemmerly Genealogy. Wrote to Kathi. Sent letter to Boice- Dayton on Plains of Sandusky. 1822 death of Douglas Farnam that she wrote for info on locale of.
Had to empty garbage on compost pile after 3 weeks snow still up to boot tops.
TV and reading Nixon in nonfiction condensed Reader’s Digest book.

At 9:30 at Heritage Hall for Resource Center Committee meeting. Got furniture moved around. Marion Area Genealogical Society has $5,000 to commit to Resource Center! Pat and I will investigate microfilm reader- printer and CD-ROM drive. Home and wrote up report of meeting and list of needs. Back at 4:30 for Executive Committee meeting. Richard Brooks left report of meeting with Craig and Osborne accounting. Jack has acquiesced to Carol Reubens secretary writing checks. Need a chart of accounts. Home by 6:15. Popcorn for supper. Deposited $299.50 for Day Before Yesterday

Breakthrough in Roots IV so making progress in editing info. Can’t figure why Green Springs location got in so many wrong records.
Didn’t go to Marion Area Genealogical Society meeting but worked all evening on Hemmerly Genealogy [HemGen] and finished entering plaque names from Ray Coleman.
Spent morning hunting up all checks and bank statements for 1994 getting ready to do income tax.

At computer most of day. Called Mildred Rutherford (Peter-Caroline Henry O. Baker descendants) in Green Springs and assured her all her descendants were still on my computer. She will send me addresses.

Made chili and macaroni and cheese and Jello. Had Mary out for supper. She enjoyed watching Phone Select. Worked on Mildred Rutherford’s family.

To Dr Singh 3:45- office full so had dinner with two Mary’s at Some Place Else and then back. All okay gave me antihistamines for constant nasal drip. Told him I may be allergic to Cat. Forgot to point out hole near hairline. Yold me I’m showing age as body wears out! If I need a cane, use it. Called David with questions but not much satisfaction- have to call Micro Center.

Finally had time to use compact discs after Royce cleaned. Family Tree Maker info not much good just names of Social Security deceased but found an Encarta in my cd-rom drive- put there by SRC who made my computer? The Phone Select is fantastic about 25 Hemmerlys- a few I can’t identify in Ohio. installed all CD-ROMs with no trouble.

Compiled Huber fundraising info for Tom Ivory of National City Bank. Copied correspondence on issuances of EHMA 501c3 for him and Carl Hughes. Sent Carl a letter and included pleas for a commitment from Fahey Bank. Also wrote thanking Fred Ried and Hap Dowler. Willis Thomas called- had sent him a copy of my letter to John Scroeter- he said it was a masterpiece. A large hawk- white front- flew into tree along river. Goshawk? Wrote news story on last night’s program.

Wrote checks. In at 3:00 for cut and blow dry. Marcia gave me check for $85 for Day Before Yesterdays she sold. Also got deposit slips from Caledonia Bank- sold two. Picked up food at Dubbles and to Mary’s to eat. She’s putting together a 3D jigsaw puzzle of Neuschwanstein Castle. To Heritage Hall by 6:45. Fred and Don Reid arrived- only about 30 there. Eula and cohorts notable by absence. Good presentation by Fred and Hap Dowler. All enjoyed Marion Remembers Warren G. Harding. Home about 10:15.

After breakfast left David’s about 8:45. Stopped in Columbus at Micro Center. Bought CD-ROMs for Family Tree Maker, Direct Phone and Reader’s Digest multimedia crosswords. $167. Then to National Furniture Warehouse 500 West Broad near where I worked at HC Godwin company. Found Oak veneer bookcases heavy honey oak finish- bought four at $150 each. Stopped at Heritage Hall and Gary Wargowski and Gene unloaded them for me. Stopped at Hemmerly’s to leave delivery map David made with computer program. Cass interviewed Darlene for Patty Winn’s position. Both liked prospect- $8 per hour
