Finished taking antibiotics. Can’t see they did me any good. Still no pep & don’t do much.

Feeling lousy but made a casserole of chicken for Annual Meeting Potluck. Dragged myself to Heritage hall about 3:30. Lots of good Annual reports from some chairmen. Gave my annual reports for Secretary, Newsletter editor & RegII meeting.Election easy – nominated slate elected with no further nominations.(rumors that Charlie Evers wold be nominated from floor). Eula Rhoads elected president.
Glad to get home & to bed.

Called Uncle Allen to wish him & Aunt Ruth a Happy 75th Wedding Anniversary. He sounded real chipper, but Aunt ruth didn’t come to phone. They have 2 maids & someone in there all the time with them. Ruth broke her hip in June & was in convalescent home for 80 days. First time they had been apart for more than a few days since they were married.

Sent Karen a check for $45 toward the Thanksgiving dinner.

Throat better, but now runny nose.
Mary out & brought grapes & milk

Mary out to check on me. Throat still sore.

Monday, November 18, 1991
Woke with terrible sore throat or tonsillitis. Called Mary & she got a Drs appointment fo me at 1:45. Came out & picked me up. Dr. Lowe gives me no confidence. Prescribed antibiotic eryth something & a throat prescription with codeine. Back home & to bed.
