Bob Whitman & Steve White met here to iron out questions on Thorpe Book. Needed to keep pages at 126 so I suggested they use the roster pictures 3 on a page instead of 2 which saved the 4 pages needed. So now we are back to a $6,400 contract. Steve says index typesetting included in the price so all he needs is a straight print out.

Finished income tax. Another 4 hours – found a few minor errors & didn’t change tax. I have to pay one bit – $1,647.00

To Eber Baker School at 8:25 to judge Science Fair. Teamed with Bob Bernow to judge 6 botany projects – no superiors.

Picked Dave up at Marys & went over to 229 where girls were cleaning – what a change! And sure smells better. Got home just before Bob Whitman arrived to go over 2nd proofs. Talked for abou9t an hour after we finished & then “played” with David.

Practiced Julianna Bickel’s baptismal certificate for the last calligraphy class. Made nice meat loaf supper but Dave refused to eat. When I saw the mess in the Rec Room (It looked like the way the Alexanders left 229 E. Fairground) I took pictures of it which Dave described as “sick” on my part. Took him to Driver’s Ed at 5 but he was not scheduled. Poor communication with authority.

To Gloria Marshall & then calligraphy & then Genealogy Meeting & then Big Bear. Dave had cleaned Rec Room when I got home – But had sprayed black paint on carpet.
