Royce here to clean. In town at 9:30. Got belts for sweeper. Stopped at shop to copy Whitman agreement & sent to Judge Myers. Bought sunflower seed & salt for ice melting.

Stoppe at 229 E. Fairground & spoke to Debbie Alexander – her husband called her – wouldn’t talk – ask if they rec’d eviction notice – “Yes, & they would be out by first of month. Talked to City Hall (?) and they said had to make arrangements to pay back rent.” Made me sick to see condition of house.

Picked Cat up at Kantzer’s Vet. Stiches in her paws. $30 for declawing, $15 for shots. Ralph Hedges finished decorating $551. Picked Dave up at school so could bring his 36″ x 36″ table home. Fried rice for dinner.

Ralph had hall painted & working on paper hanging when I got home. Practiced calligraphy.

Bob Whitman over with agreement between him & MCHS – his attorney made very few changes. He brought Dave book on back-packing & had proof of flyer for book.*

Ralph Hedges here at 8:30. Patched walls, took grass cloth wallpaper off living room (Oscar Beck put in on in 1960’s) & sized walls. I did calligraphy. Wrote agenda for MCHS Board Meeting tomorrow night – letters to Mary VanAtta Bishop & Martha Romine – Figured rental expenses – showed a not loss of $56 on the 4 properties – But withdrew $7,000 from profits – Depreciation & interest gave me the tax loss.

Maxine Marshall & Corrinne McAfee on my computer at shop. David took Karen to Columbus today for checkup by Dr. Davidorf. She sent me an “engagement” card for a joke.
