To Garden Forum & brought home schedule to re-type. Ruth Ault’s version left something to be desired. Worked on it till bedtime.
Left lights on car so when we went out to go to Dave’s Drivers Ed & me to Genealogy -no go! Dave furious – me disappointed. Cummins State President was speaker.

Got Thorpe index tape back from David & went right to work on it. Finished the edting in WordStar.

Sent David index disk to clean up for me.
To Courthouse for 10:30 meeting of Centennial Committee. Found they want an MCHS committee to publish history of courthouse. John, Cottrell, Dave Brown & me. Dave has the photographs & definite ideas.
Met Mary & June at Turoff’s for lunch & then to Hist. Center to show June. Got Perm at 1:15 & 3:45 – $30 – To police station to sign report of theft from Car Tues & they looked like whoever told me that was nuts. Picked up “To Kill a Mockingbird” for Dave’s English Class & picked him up at school after Driver’s Ed at 5. Supper & then to MCHS meeting at Library. Rev Beattie of Galion on his early Bottle collection.

Worked on index but can’t solve problem of “disk full” frustration. Got pot roast supper for Mary & June & Mary Jordan. Had fun evening reminiscing.

Worked on index on computer most of day. Letter from Ray Swick on Blennerhasset Island Park – enclosing a letter written in October 1791 describing Benoni Hurlbut’s death by Indian Scalping – He ordered a Hildreth Genealogy. Answered letter and sent book.
Up at 6:00 to take Dave to school to go to Industrial Tech Convention in Columbus. Dave in Creed contest & looked great in his blue cords, blue shirt, whie sleeveless sweater & Ray Romine’s tie. Took June Howe Ulle to Altrusa Potluck. Ron Scheiderer on Personal Safety. When came to car someone had stolen Dave’s bag that he had taken to Convention. Had Rocky’s draftsman’s set & clothes.
