No school 24 degrees 30 mph wind chill factor -6 10″ snow
Snowing & blowing all day – schools closed & no one on the roads – no mail or paper. Chris Opp slept on sofa in rec room & neither he nor Dave got up until 1. Walked over to Chris’ — without telling me — and Dave with that cold.

Worked all day on my income tax. I’m going to file it myself & save the $250 that Holbrook charges. Still overpaid $770 from their advice last year. Taxable income 16,000 – tax $1,600 — but actual income was $45,000!@ Soc. Sec – Rental & cap gains income sheltered.

Mr. Saxton “Pappy” stopped in to say that his wife had a triple bypass at University Hosp a wek ago & just coming out of it. Sounds serious.

Started sorting fliers. Worked about 2 hrs in the sun – really hot.

Took Dave shopping for jeans, jeans jacket, briefs (why fancy ones?). Then he wanted to go to movie while I went to Calligraphy Class. But he was not at Olan Mills at 9:15 when I went to pick him up. Called me at 10:20 “(where the hell are you?”) Had to go in & get him. Gave him silent treatment.
