Terry Doodan from DeHavens out with landscape ploans for back bank. First estimate was $10,000 but she came out with it at $8,000 – due to “Dave’s (the earth moving contractor) cooperations. But when she saw area was not 80 ft – only 60 – she gave $6,500 (Inc. tax but not moving top soil).
In to get glasses fixed & transfer money from money market fund for $2,150 deposits. Dave & Chris Opp moved stoneds & graded area by greenhouse.

Slept until 11:30 & Dave until 12:30. Cut Forsythia for 20′ east of mail box – Tired of 15 below zero winters that keep it from blooming.
Called David – Told him I’d come down for Funeral Director’s Convention May 15, 16, 17.
Let Dave drive in alone for BYF rehearsal. Left at 2:30 & home at 6:00.
Still tired from yesterday. Put up part of new camel draperies.
Watched part of “Ten Commandments” but to bed at 11:00.
