Maxine Marshall called- says she told Pat Winn I hadn’t paid dues. Why didn’t she tell me? I told her it was only my respect for Midlams that would make me finish Cemetery records.

Threatening rain but mowed upper lawn. Men worked in terraces off and on between showers, starting on second terrace. Terry out and got them on right track on steps by greenhouse.

Letter from Dorothy Hildreth Dines enthusiastic about Hildreth genealogy. An order from Ensinger- Omaha, Nebraska no idea who she is.

Worked all day on Cemetery records to take to genealogy meeting but walked out without them. Woods absolutely gorgeous spring beauties look like snow. Daffodils gorgeous so large and cool weather keeps them blooming. Worked on Cemetery records.

Took car back to garage to get horn fixed that blows anytime. Car stalled again at Big Bear. To genealogy meeting at 7:00 and found them distributing surname index books. Maxine Marshall came over and said you won’t find your name in there because you didn’t pay your dues. The tone was gloating. I was crushed after spending hours getting non-profit status for them and doing Cemetery records about 200 hours.

The three of us had been alotted 30 minutes. Meeting of OAHSM – Region 1 Sicily from Sander Farm fantastic on becoming a tourist attraction. Held at Napoleon 150 Incorporated their sesquicentennial headquarters. Toured Courthouse that inspired Marion’s in 1883.

David arrived at shop at 6:30 and we got chicken and brought home for supper. Worked on Cemetery records program improvements. David So uptight it worries me.

Thunderstorm with half inch rain so deHaven men not here. Sunny day, 84 put shorts on. In woods full of Myrtle warblers.

Worked on Cemetery records 3 hours. Dave and Chris Opp put up Martin house after school. Chickadees gone north. Planted white Rhododendron by new fence. Let Dave take car to Jerry’s from 4:00 to 7:00. Very sassy and disrespectful all evening. I get so discouraged. Why can’t he eat and drink right and treat me decently? called David to see if he had time Sunday for a trip.
