Put $6,400 check in Home Federal money market fund.

To Columbus with David after checking in at shop. Linda Glenn going to Allstate Insurance with a relative. Tried not to show my elation.

Met Don Wells- David’s salesman and he told me what a great son I have. He and John Naylor and David busy all day with explaining TerraForms. I invited their wives or children to the computer to see how easy it was- Bet my prospects will be easiest to sell!

Rained all day- slow and gentle 1 1/4 inches.

David and I to genealogy meeting. Cemetery book distributed. Note to call Kass. Mary and Carolyn told her that Norma Eckleberry planted the unpaid unpaid ledger card in the file and then blamed it on Phyllis. Told them she was going to do it. Phyllis crying all day because she tries so hard. Linda told Mary Waggle she was a fool to work for $3.60 an hour when Linda was getting $4. How does Linda know what Mary gets?

Mailed 537 flyers- Courthouse book, Puzzlerama and Hildreth and 1929 Marion County history.

Ron Laippley called about 10:30 saying the cemetery book would be delivered today.

Planted sweet corn, cantaloupe and zucchini across road.

In at 2:00 to pick up land contract that Joe Fields attorney had prepared and took to Bob Stout. Found no provision for paying accrued interest not paid if he prepays the contract $64,000 in 12 years $5,000 a year $6,400 down. Also had inked out my right to okay any subleasing or selling the contract! Bob will fix and have ready tomorrow but we signed (in Cheryl’s name only) and they gave me the $6,400.

Took 200 Cemetery books to Maxine Marshall. David home from Ohio Funeral Directors convention about 10:00 pretty beat. Wish I had better bed than the living room sofa for him.

Kass found note from Linda Glenn on her desk saying she has another job giving two weeks notice and saying she will take her vacation next week. Employees handbook says no vacation week before a holiday.
