River flooded on both sides by evening.
Went to Historical Center and changed into my pioneer dress and waited for Grace Circle to come over from Trinity for a tour and program. Told the story of Christmas in Marion in 1823. Learned from Jane Straw that Daisy Jacoby did most of the work on Jay Wilbur Jacoby’s 1907 Marion County History. She was his sister and Jane’s great aunt! Talk about male chauvinism! Had lunch at Trinity (old library) with them. Found a set of books given us early in our years was the proceedings of the Ohio Archaeological Society volume 1 published 1888. Had story of Blennerhassets so I took it to shop and copied it. Got addresses for shop people and put on their Christmas cards and got all cards mailed.
To Styling Salon for cut and set. Rained all day. Picked Dave up at 4:15. Mr. Jackson was helping him with tryout song for “Annie Get Your Gun”. He took Cat in to get stitches out. Went to Oleta’s when he told me he was going to Mary’s.
