Dave’s 19th on the 19th.
Barbara Brewer rescued me to help clean- $35 for 6 hours but she really cleans. Finished part of SOP ready to transfer to MS-DOS for ICP. Haven’t heard from Steve White all week.

Dave and Chip got in at 11:00 just after Kathi called to tell me Kristy got a full four year Air Force scholarship in math- 2500 given out of 30,000 applicants. Dave and Chip took off to pick up Amy Lovell and pizza and go to Stacy Glenn’s.

Two men from Rick’s floor coverings here about 9:00 to lay new carpet- love it! Tweedy Cacoa and brown. Laid old brick carpet in rec room over the red. Finished by 2:30 all furniture had to come out- a mess.

Supper with Mary at Bob Evans. Picked up two computer disks at Meijer- one for me and one for MCHS. Was going to look at lounge chairs but Mary said she had extra. Liked her green Tweed so she brought it out. Worked till 1:30 putting things back.

Took Howard to bank in Caledonia to deposit a bonus check he got from teachers retirement- $615. Also deposited check he gave me for $1,000. I am buying all his food, clothes and have extra washing and drying because of his night urination and he wants lights on all night and heat set to 72°

David at shop today. Told Kass Hemmerly’s board had voted him a raise. Worked 5 hours on book.

To new activities building on OSU campus at Marion- president’s dinner for big donors. My prairie donation got me there.

Royce here to clean and I ran myself ragged picking up ahead of her. Managed to get Howard to bring his urine soaked bedding and clothes out to wash.

Christmas card from Ed Steerman in Lewiston, Idaho. I hadn’t heard from him in 15 years. Butterfly pal- Kathi’s classmate.

In to shop to copy chapters 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 for Moshers. Took layout and sheet from ICP for them to okay. Also took copy to Hal Boncutter for his evaluation.
