Gathered material together on tour and Bicentennial committee. Took $405 to Irma Campbell- $100 of it my money that I thought was short but I had already given it to her. Permanent at sSyling Salon. Then to see Bill Wisler about single premium insurance for $50,000 that could generate college money for David’s kids. 4:00 Bicentennial committee meeting at Courthouse. Ray Switzer off and running with July 12th celebration. Met Earlene Hatch- black and rich! To shop to copy WO story and shopped. At home dead tired.
Phone call from Steve White on answering machine hardbound copies not ready bill in the mail $2,000. too high.

Howard burned papers I wrote checks- wrote press releases for tour Sunday- hard bound book Distribution on April 18th and Terradise Open Garden on April 26th. Also minutes for Huber meeting. Call from Linda Schoonover asking for article for local history on what’s happening in Marion this summer. In to Marion at 4:00 to take more books from Center to shop, leave press releases at Star and have supper with Mary and Geneva Brewer at Frisch’s. Grocery shopped at Big Bear- cashed in Buckeye cards for $12. Home at 8:00 and had a call from David saying Sarah qualified for Walnut Hills High school- the college prep School in Cincinnati.

Lazy day. Took Howard to Reece’s to get chewing tobacco and drove a mile “block” to check out flooding not serious.
Got into sorting cassette tapes- looking for one Uncle Allen made of Harding era. Sorted MCHS meetings -trips- family- family history- Riegers- Uncle Allen.
Napped PM- slept so deeply hard to wake up.
