Paris here all day – helpin’. Painted steps, build compost heap, etc. etc. Trella in p.m. to work on big Judy Reichenstein wedding (Home 9:50 Me, no good yet – flopped.

90 degrees scheduled-? Pretty hot. Lousy, as usual, me – bed mostly. Some verse work, etc. Sandy here awhile. Webbs* too.

LAST Xray treatment (supposedly) & am I GLAD? N.G. all day – as usual. Some on pomes & morgue, but little. The Punch Walkers* sent me a book! Trella appointments etc today. Warmer.

In for next-to-last Xray treatment. N.G. rest o’ day. Trella & I worked on back brick terrace – she doing most o’ work. Avery’s *(Uncapher) here tonite. Ray Hemmerly & Rockwells set in their drier (temporarily)

Lousy again. @ Xrays anyhow. (2 to go!) Visited Sandy’s Hall Trucking Office 1st time, a.m.! nice. N.G. all day – lay around, & evening. Cooler.

Monday, June 21, 1954
Hot. Felt some better- after we finally got back home from visit & my talking Allen Sheneman. Pomes, art, etc. Trella slaved outside, banks, rocks, etc.

Sunday, June 20, 1954
LOUSY – me. Weather nice, hot. I slept, worked on pomes, morgued a little. Florence & Byron here p.m. Mary & Rocky for supper. Kids home again.

Saturday, June 19, 1954
N.G. whatever! Made it in & back stopping with medical form at Axthelm’s. Trella in all day working till 6:30. Paris, Dad & Sandy all here p.m.

Friday, June 18, 1954
Pulled a few discard Iris a.m.- too much for me! In alone to Doc Morrison (2:15 for a change) – (Trella took Kathy Mt. Gilead, worked weddings rest o’ day) Slept after I returned, up 7 for supper. Trella not back yet- 9:22.

Thursday, June 17, 1954
Stopped Dorothy Brown’s after treatment. Felt some lousy today. Whites, Jr & Sr (Fred & Harold) & fams here 4:20-8:30(?) Sandy’s 1st trip since she bought Dodge. Saw her 1st “Pony”* shots, & some o’ our Canada pictures.
