Mary & Wilda picked me up at 7 – Drove throught misty morning with red sun coming up – Took Brick orders & 2 “remake” bricks to Glen/Gery.

To Don* & Agnes’  via 95-13-97-255-341 – There by 10:30. Tom & Velma stopped in. They have moved in to house on hill leaving their home in NJ.
Heather & Holly came over after school – 13 & 15 – 8th & 10th grade. Delicious chicken dinner, scalloped potatoes, carrots, spinach, red cabbage & devil’s food cake. They’ve built a small deck off back of house. Don has a square foot garden. Produces all their vegetables – Tomatoes & cantaloupe on trellises. Huge – 200 lb pumpkin (squash). Mary & I took turns talking to Agnes so Wilda could have some time with Don. Left at 5:00 for Akron. Doris didn’t know when to expect Wilda but she will stay all night there and ‘til Tues. Her High School Reunion is Fri & Sat next week. We left about 7:40 – Drove thru shower, but none at home when we got here at 9:15.
