Left for Columbus about 9:30 and went through Mount Gilead down Route 61 to I-71 was 4 miles farther but still took just an hour. Nice to have a change of scenery. Checked in at Local History Office and then went to library to check out Edward Milan Taylor for John C. Schroeter. He wanted to know if he was President Harding’s military aid. Not listed in index of Harding papers.
John Briley, Pat Cummins and Bill Nolan at executive board meeting and the whole local history staff which Bill resented. Recommended Articles of Incorporation and bylaws to Board of Trustees but with provision that Board of Trustees elect officers instead of membership which I question as a good move. Pat Cummins presented my version of the recognition program which is back to being called certification! Set up a timetable for implementation.
