Trella Hemmerly – 1987-04-04

Saturday, April 4, 1987 distribution of books at Center regional meeting at Greenville.

Woke to snowstorm and 40 mile an hour wind. To Reece’s for suet for birds and blowing snow and drifts bad. 30 minutes to drive to Marion. Moshers at Center to pre-autograph books. I took sandwiches for lunch. John Cottrell had cleared walks and when Norm came in he did Pleasant Street. About 50 braved the weather. Mary in at 4:00 and I took her to Teresa’s for spaghetti and Terry wouldn’t let us pay for dinner. Gave us orange torte for dessert and sent a pizza home with me! Blowing snow bad so called Charlie Evers and Rob Rob and decided to postpone tour until next Sunday.
