Bill and Dave to Wyandot Lake for the day in 2 cars. Bill’s broke down as they started home so he came back here instead of going home as he planned.
I worked on Prairie brochure and first history article for the Star also on the prairie*. In to shop to print brochure and got gibberish on printer. Called David but he couldn’t help.
Then was copying all the great Stokely papers that Lurline Stokely sent and got the copier jammed. Norma will be in a tizzy in the morning.
Shopped and home about 8:30. Printed brochure on my dot matrix printer and pasted up dummy. Beat. So hot and sultry. 11:00 p.m. temperature 75°, and 85% humidity
[* This was the start of a long running “Day Before Yesterday” column which ran in the Marion Star and was later collected in a book available at terradisebooks.com]
