Unexempt

Only storms and rain and wind
Move about undisciplined;
Catbirds, roses, humans-these
Own responsibilities.

Yet, the wind and storms must move
In a planned, well-patterned groove;
And birds and blossoms, loss and gain,
All depend upon the rain.
