On Xmas

‘Way up in the stratosphere,
Mother Goose, the quaint old dear,
Is plucking geese, so legend goes
To fix us up with Christmas snows.

And Sol so many miles away
Is getting set for Christmas Day,
To glitter o’er the snow we’ll get
(Of course we haven’t got it yet).

And Jacky Frost, away up north,
Prepares himself for faring forth
To do his bit as best he can,
(He’ll probably go too far again.)

Now, have you done your part this year
To help along the Christmas cheer?
The elements have all come through–
The rest, it seems, is up to YOU!
