I rode Uptown with mother[ shorthand] are you shoes, walked[ shorthand]. Ellen came down it’s 7:15[ shorthand] town,[ shorthand], Coke[ shorthand]. played cards in 8 nut bread. [Shorthand] fun. a new game of Solitaire.

Bob Haldeman can (so silly [shorthand] Herald [shorthand]. About six articles came in today. [Shorthand] didn’t start set up until 10 this morning. Mary came home with me. Louis Woolum came over to help me with the Herald. Bernard Brooks was at debate I missed him.

Tt seemed so queer back at school. Gave out assignments and started the week right by not having my lessons. M, H, L, Irene and I went to Edmond Heller lecture -so boring. M & I stayed all night at Helen’s.

Well I guess I was wrong Bernard didn’t even see me at the game. Helen and I were down to Mary’s all afternoon and she fixed my hair so cute. At BY, Bernard, me, Mary, Jimmy, H, Harry were an auto at BY.

Messed around all day trying to get last minute things done. Typed, tried to gather up the magazines and didn’t get to bed till midnight.

Mary Burch typed Guild books all morning. The girls came here to practice for the play we’re going to give some time. We went to The Galion game. Won. Came home and went to bed. How thrilling. Didn’t see Bill Dean at the game.

Tried to finish making my books but it sure is a job. I took the letter down to Mary and we spent all evening composing one to B.J. She mailed it and then came on home with me.
